I BEAT THE WHOLE THING

i rlly likd the sence of progreson. u start a lowly peezant, nd end as a pwrful magewarior. also, the caractre handles swell!!1

in the sequel, try to ad more voice acting.

ps. pm me for my secret advice on beating the boss (u hit space)

Frustrating fun

Actually really serious frame rate issues. Serious in that it'll trip up when you need to make an ultra precise jump and you'll go flying into an obstacle. It's unfortunate that much of the challenge of this game is getting around that.

Still, it's a ton of fun. There's absolutely no doubt about that.

disappointing :(

soooooo broken

I started and fell straight to the bottom. And the game crashed. Then I refreshed and red the instructions. Started again and the diamond/gem things looked good! Until I tried to collect one and it crashed. Try making your game work before submitting.

IcePets responds:

The game works perfectly fine, and has been played and tested by thousands of people prior to submitting. Also, as the directions say, those ice blocks are what you're intended to avoid.

Some ideas for a sequel

Alright, hey dude, here's what's up.

Loved a lot of the game. Especially the map because if you can't find one you can see where you haven't explored or if you saw a gem but weren't able to pick it up.

My problem with it is that the only motivation you have to continue playing is to find more gems. What would be really cool is if each gem gave you something. I'm sort of thinking Zeldaian here, like maybe there are 5 different areas on this planet, like a forest, desert, ocean, etc. and in each zone you must find 10 gems and 1 item like a jetpack which allows temporary hovering, or the scuba suit needed to do the ocean level.

As it is, I don't think there is enough variety and there is no reward for collecting each gem, which would make continuing much more compelling.

But loved it overall! Good luck in the future!

Amazing, I can't wait for the final version!

even in the beta version, Atomic has included enough content to keep this fantasy rpg interesting even after playing through its only level once. although the entire game is relatively short at the moment, he has included so many weapons that you cannot get by playing through just once that i feel its worth it to play through several times, focusing on a different weapon each time. although the music is nice, the combat sounds are kind of lame, and theres no sounds when people talk, not even a *blah blah blah*. graphics were nice, and reminded me of runescape.

i gave this game a nine overall because even though its not very long yet, the time you put into it definitely will be enjoyable, whether its 5 minutes or a few hours (ok, maybe not a few hours, but you can easily spend one on it!)

Nemo responds:

Thanks a lot! I'm sorry I made it so short. A lot of the reason it got to be like that was because it took so long to program every area manually. For the next version I will create a level editor so that making the game environment itself will go much faster. Thanks for playing!
